A word about us

Raadballi is a creation of Satinder Guleria. Even more, he was a visionary researcher of Pong Dam lake. Wildlife protection and bird watching were his hobbies as well. Bombay Natural History Society took his help in bird banding. Above all, he participated in World convention on Eco-tourism in Nepal. Raadballi retreat commits itself to fulfill his dreams. Similarly, Kangra fort, Bathu ki Ladi and Masroor attract tourists. The Katoch royalty of Kangra fort have the oldest lineage in the world. Tatwani hot water springs have medicinal properties. Best time to visit Pong Dam Lake and Kangra Valley

September to March are to be the best period to visit Pong Dam. However, Bathu ki Ladi is approachable only during summers. There is a miracle about Bathu ki Ladi temples. In fact, it is visible only from March to July. During remaining period of the year it is notably under water. Likewise, for bird watching, mid November to end February is best time. Maximum species of birds flock to Pong Dam lake during this period. Sizeable number of local bird species are also available.

Dharamshala known as Little Lhasa, is famous for Tibetan monasteries. His Holiness the Dalai Lama has his abode at Mcleodganj. These destinations are open to visitors all through the year.
