Awesome Duo host - Sumit and Daduji. Just like a family they treated us. We had a great time there. Though its located amidst Jungle and mountains, but the approach roads to the property is very good. Sumit had arranged an early morning trek to the largest rock from where you get the view of the valley. We wished to stay there for more 1 day to explore nearby Pong Dam areas and go for bird watching by the lake side. May be try watersports too. Hopefully we get an opportunity to visit once again.

- Awesome Duo host – Sumit and Daduji

Raadballi Retreat, situated in the forest reserve area near famous Masrur Rock Cut temples is an amazing getaway if you want a peaceful and homely stay. The place is run by outstanding host Mr Sumit Guleria and his Dadu ji. I have never seen a better host than them anywhere. I was there with my wife and the feeling I had is that I am visiting my relatives and staying with them. Sumit gave his full attention along with the serene view of the property in our two days of stay. The food is freshly prepared and homely, tastes amazing and is purely organic. The place is a must visit if you're travelling with family or friends. The best part about food is the taste and aroma that it has. The trekking and hiking in the property itself at no extra cost is an additional perk. If someone is really fed up with city life and wants some peaceful stay, then Raadballi is the place for them. Took amazing stories and experiences from Dadu ji along with us. Positives: Host, Food, Quality, peace Recommendations: try organic tea at Raadballi, visit Nagrota Surian reservoir, Masrur Rock cut temple, hot water springs I wish Sumit and his team an amazingly successful journey. Looking forward to go again with my complete family.

- A perfect getaway from city with fabulous hosts

Raadballi is by far the best property I visited in Himachal pradesh! Surrounded by splendid nature, birds and animals like deers! The host Sumit and his grandpa added a freshness to my experience at raadballi. Visiting pong dam and trekking around the property was magnificent. I got to cook my own meals on an earthen stove with fresh plucked ingredients from their gardens, an experience i’l always remember. Would be looking forward to visit raadballi again!- Disha Ahuja

- The Most Spectacular Jungle Experience With The Most Welcoming Hosts!!

This June end, we planned to visit dharmsala and we found and chose Raadballi for our stay. Since the beginning till the end of our trip, we continued to explore the place, nature is God Gifted and the way nature is maintained is simply superb, Sumit our host has guided us every day so we do not miss on any place nearby. He planned few surprises for us during the trip. Kuku was always ready to cater all our needs. Spent indimenticable evening with friends. Open shower, nature, garden, food everything was awesome. Had Yoga session, a guide to visit all places, river side swimming and few surprises. Imagine you need lemon and you go to backyard and just pluck it. Though, it's around 40km to Dharamshala but how does it matter if your plan is to enjoy your vacations, live in peace, chat with family and friends and just relax. I was impressed that they do not encourage polyethylene usage; everyone knows it affects our environment but they follow too. I certainly recommend Raadballi to everyone who is planning to visit Dharamshala.

Raadballi Retreat is as fascinating as the story behind its name and how it came into being. A forest retreat literally in the middle of nowhere; is a location for all of us who are invaded by the sounds of blaring horns and PM2.5 infested air that tests the limits of our lungs efficiency. If you can reach the place without active help of the super host Sumit; you deserve a medal of honour from GPS. Besides the sounds of silence and abundant chirping of birds; get treated by rustic comfort of the place and enthusiastic hospitality of Sumit and his grandfather( a Navy veteran). The food cooked here is so tasty that it always leaves you yearning for more. A swim session in the natural pool in the local “khud”; lessons in the cooking of Kangra delicacies in the open air kitchen and a visit to the nearby Masroor Temple(an architectural marvel); is the icing on the Raadballi cake. My wife and I had a fascinating stay. Thank you, Sumit for giving a new meaning to a quiet holiday. Our best wishes👍

Raadballi Retreat, an amazing place, away from city, in the lap of nature and to feel real peace of mind. Great hospitality, good local food items cooked with hygiene. We can not forget that trip to Pong Dam Lake and boating. It was a wonderful experience. We became so familiar with Sumit, Uncle (Sumit’s Grandpa) and Kukku bhai from the day one. Uncle is really an amazing and very inspiring personality who can make anyone feel like his family member. Raadballi is the place to re-visit and we will definitely like to visit again.

This is one of those sacred places which we find once in a lifetime. This place overwhelmed us with warmth, love, and peace. The hosts made us feel so at home that we were almost part of a family for the short time we were at their place. The place itself is enchanting from dawn till dusk and dawn again. This isolated place is perfect for those who want to escape the noise of cities and concrete landscapes, yet with all the luxuries one would ever need. The cock-a-doodle-doo of the roost in the morning will wake you up in the morning and the sweet humming of cicadas will put you to peaceful sleep in the night. The place is surrounded by places where one can spend days exploring including the hidden gem Pong Dam, Tatwani hot springs, Masroor rock-cut temples, etc. Sumit sir himself is a passionate cook who astonished us with one dish after another and his forever active assistant Balwant Singh aka Kukubhai was provided us with amenities even before we wished it. Sumit sir's grandpa has a rich experience of 83 years and 2 days felt too short to learn all that he had to share.

Raadballi is one of the few places that are like a gem find! In the heart of nature, with home grown vegetation that is fresh, unadulterated and authentic Himachali cuisine. A place hosted by kind hearted locals (sumit bhaiya and his grandpa) will eventually feel like family! I just got back from my stay there which was for 2 nights (25th and 26th December) and it was one of the best stays I've been to. Sumit bhaiya (our host and owner of the property) welcomed my friends and I with so much warmth, a big smile and a fresh shikanji made out of lemons freshly plucked from their backyard. This place is 50kms from Dharamshala and apt for someone looking for some quiet and calm from the commercial town of Dharamshala and still be close enough to go and visit around. Also, Sumit bhaiya keeps a lot of surprises in store for his guests so make sure you don't miss out on the hints that he may give while the booking process! 😉 Sumit bhaiya was also our MasterChef along with managing all the other roles on hand. The food here is scrumptious, finger licking good and super wholesome. It's the most organic and delicious food we could possibly be served in the area. Sumit bhaiya and his grandpa are joyous, humble and so easy to talk to that I felt at home. It truly is a home away from home experience and worth more visits. So much to experience and learn about minimalistic living from this place. ❤️😍

The jungle retreat at Radballi is not just another Airbnb accommodation, it is an experience! We stayed at Radballi for three nights and had the best days of our lives. During these few days we went swimming and fishing in the cool river, collected colorful small round stones, lied down on the grass- gazing the stars, played football, went trekking in the jungle, photographed birds- butterflies and animals, drove into an island which surfaced during the summer, and ate delicious Himachal food. We were a couple traveling with two kids and parents - total six - and all of us were comfortable at the place. Despite the summer (May) heat outside, the mornings and evenings were pleasantly cool. In fact the spacious "Mayur Kaksh" room was cool even during the noon time. The hosts provided us with delicious breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner, and snacks to accompany some cold beer. Sumit, the host, was friendly and took us around and played with the kids. The grandfather had a lot of interesting stories to tell us, and we had the rest from the story books in the library. If you are interested in birding, there are a couple of books on birds of Pong dam and Kangra in the library. Since the stay is integrated into the jungle, the birds there are less shy and you can see a pair of barn swallows and magpie robins building their nest by the house - or the elegant paradise flycatcher waving its magic white ribbons at you. Besides the birds, during the jungle trip we saw barking deer, sambar, mangoose, and a snake gracefully swimming in the water. The travel to Radballi from the airport was fine, and we got a good driver (Sahil) upon Sumit's suggestion - and we used the same service for the rest of our journey around Dharamshala. All-in-all it was a memorable stay, and we are sure to visit Radballi again!
